OFFLOAD

Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]. These terms are a plain-language draft and should be reviewed by a lawyer before this site is treated as fully launched.

Not a crisis service

Offload is a place to vent to other people, not professional help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services directly. If you're struggling, a crisis line is a phone call away — in the US, dial or text 988. Outside the US, [LINK TO A LOCAL CRISIS-LINE DIRECTORY] can help you find one.

Who can use this

You must be at least 13 years old to use Offload. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. By posting, you confirm you meet this requirement.

No account, and what that means

There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to terminate in the usual sense. What we can do is restrict a specific anonymous identity (the cookie-based signal described in the Privacy Policy) from posting further, if it's used to violate these Terms.

What you agree not to post

Moderation & enforcement

Posts are screened automatically after publishing and can be reported by any visitor; anything that violates these Terms may be removed. Repeated violations from the same anonymous identity lead to that identity being blocked from posting further. Moderating content in good faith doesn't make us the author of what visitors post — we're not responsible for user-submitted content, and removing something doesn't mean we endorsed it in the first place.

Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, contact [DMCA AGENT NAME / EMAIL, OR LINK TO THE US COPYRIGHT OFFICE DESIGNATED-AGENT REGISTRATION] with a description of the work, the material you believe infringes it, and where it appears. We'll act on valid notices promptly.

No warranty

Offload is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be available, error-free, or that any particular post will be reviewed or removed within any specific time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for content posted by visitors or for any damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may change or discontinue any part of Offload, and may update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
